Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic safely and efficiently at construction sites or other locations as needed - Set up traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs - Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to ensure their safety and provide directions as needed - Monitor traffic flow and adjust traffic control measures as necessary - Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Traffic Controller/Flagger or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Familiarity with traffic control devices and procedures - Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations - Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods of time - Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure Job Type:
