Receives/answers incoming telephone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner and greets/assists patients and family(ies) in the same manner.
Other duties include administrative and general office duties including filing, faxing, data entry following medical practice policy day-to-day.
Position REQUIRES At least 2 years experience in a medical office setting REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent.
Attention to detail Multi-tasking ability Excellent customer service skills Understands the needs of the billing department Busy phones and patient contact Knowledge of medical terminology and organization services Knowledge of staff responsibilities to accurately direct callers Knowledge of administrative processes, procedures, medical insurance, claim processing, and preparing schedule in advance Knowledge of basic math and modern office procedures Knowledge of insurance and billing experience is REQUIRED Job Type:
